FAQs

Why is the mobile app asking for my zip code?

This has one purpose and one purpose only. For some retailers, their prices are regional and they fluctuate depending on your location. By receiving your zip code we can handle this issue and better serve you. We only ask for zip code and do not ask for any other location data.

How does the app work?

We wanted to make this as easy as possible for all users. Once you open the app you have the option to either scan a UPC or manually search for a product. Once you press submit, a page pops up with prices for that exact item from Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, and eBay. It’s really that simple!

I have problems with my order, who can help me with my problem?

Since all orders go directly through the retailers, we are not responsible for any problems with an order. If there are any issues with the products ordered or the delivery, please contact the retailer you purchased the item from or the shipping company responsible. If there is an issue with the OneScan mobile app or a bug you’d like to report, please contact us so we can fix it right away! Your feedback is essential for us to continue to serve you.

The product I'm trying to scan has multiple barcodes. Which do I use?

Great question! We only take UPC at the moment. Therefore, you will need to either scan or input the UPC code. Sometimes, however, the barcodes are very close together and you’ll need to “block” the other ones with a finger or item while you scan it, just to make sure you are reading the correct barcode.
